The 2022 festival will run March 25-27 in Brown Hall, Room 100, on Washington University’s Danforth Campus. The festival is free and open to the public. No tickets are required. Visit our site: africanfilm.wustl.edu.

The African Film Festival introduces St. Louis audiences to the latest in African cinema. Through a variety of genres, the films showcase the latest talent and new directions in cinema while highlighting themes in a variety of African countries. The 16th edition of the festival will feature internationally acclaimed award-winning films from Tunisia, Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana and South Africa. 

A special Eye on Youth will take place Saturday, March 26, with an 11 a.m. virtual animation workshop with David Heredia and an in-person screening at 3 p.m. anchored by the screening of internationally acclaimed "Lady Buckit."
