The Center for Engineering MechanoBiology (CEMB) is a multi-institution Science and Technology Center funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to advance the study of mechanical forces in molecules, cells, and tissues in plants and animals. CEMB includes scholars, students, industrial and community partners from Washington University in St. Louis, University of Pennsylvania, Alabama State University, Boston University, Bryn Mawr College, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and the University of California, Los Angeles.
